Other Service Activities
Harpenden Lions help Harpenden Round Table (and Santa!) with the Christmas Collection each year.
We also help plant trees and with general maintenance on the common.
Additionally the Club contributes to many other areas:

International disaster relief as part of Lions Clubs International (through LCIF) e.g. for Ukrainian refugees, the Turkish earthquake relief fund.

Relief of blindness through Lions Sightsavers

Provision of medical information to emergency services though Medicalert

Helping fund King’s College Hospital’s haematology department through Lions International Blood Research Appeal (LIBRA)
Charities we have supported recently include: The Ollie Foundation, Music24, Herts Musical Memories, Comfort Cases, MNDA, Emmaus Hertfordshire, the NSPCC, the Royal British Legion (through poppy collections), Brain Tumour Research,Toilet Twinning, Marie Curie Cancer Care and Action for Pulmonary Fibrois.
