The Harpenden Lions Club is overflowing with gratitude! We recently wrapped up our annual Christmas Tree Collection in support of the incredible Hospice of St. Francis, and the results have been truly heart-warming.
Thanks to the overwhelming support of our amazing community, we managed to collect a staggering 1,900 Christmas trees! This collective effort translated into a truly remarkable £35,000 raised for the Hospice.
More Than Just Trees: A Community Coming Together
For us, this collection was more than just a logistical exercise. It was a powerful demonstration of community spirit and a shared commitment to supporting a vital local resource. Every tree collected, every pound donated, represents a tangible contribution to The Hospice of St. Francis and the invaluable work they do for individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses.
The Hospice provides compassionate care and support during challenging times, and the funds raised will directly enable them to continue their essential services. We are immensely proud to play a part in supporting their mission.
A Heartfelt Thank You
We extend our deepest thanks to everyone who participated in this year's Christmas Tree Collection. Your generosity and willingness to contribute have made a significant impact.
